A mythical princess live on Komodo whom called Putri Naga, or Dragon princess born called Orah 



Long, long ago, a mythical princess lived on Komodo whom people called Putri Naga or the Dragon Princess. The Princess married a man named Majo and born him twins : one was a baby boy and the other a baby dragon. Her son, she named Si Gerong, and raised him amongst men; the dragon, she called Orah and reared her in the forest. Neither knew anything of the other.



Year later, manly Si Gerong shot a deer while hunting in the forest. But as he stepped forward to take his quarry, a large lizard appeared from the thicket and seized it hungrily. Si Gerong tried to chase the beast away,but in vain. It stood firm over the carcass, warning him off with bared teeth.

Si Gerong raised his spear to kill the lizard, when suddenly a radiant woman appeared : the Dragon Princess. Swiftly she parted the foes, telling Si Gerong, "Do not kill this animal; she is your sister, Orah. I bore you together. Consider her your equal because you are twins."




From the on, the inhabitants of the island treated the Komodos with kindness. The animals roamed freely in the surrounding woods, feeding themselves on wild pigs, deer, and other animals of the forest and old Komodos who could no longer fend for themselves were fed by their human brothers.


The best time to visit Komodo National Park is between April and December during the dry season. The weather is very nice, not too hot with very little to no rain. The rainy season sometimes starts early in December, so if you don't like getting wet plan your trip before. You can spot the Komodo dragon all year round.  To explore the Komodo National Park is easy nowadays. 
However you will need to fly to Bali and get the domestic flight from Bali to Labuan Bajo of the west Flores island district. I would recommend you to find reliable local tour operator here in Indonesia to arrange your komodo trip, or perhaps you may have other option like diving, boat charter. They have some option of the komodo selected tours at very reasonable price compare to most of the largest companies abroad

Can a tiger or lion kill Komodo dragon..?

Talk about how dangerous Tiger or Lion to Komodo dragon.  Well, they could kill each other. But it likely the tiger or lion would attack komodo dragon and bite them from the back of their head and can easily kill the dragon. We also find that the komodo dragon would easily manage trap to wound the cat that can create impressive laceration with blood pressure lowering venom and pathogenic bacteria that would poisoning and kill the lion or tiger.
